Campusmagazin Hohenheim
"The Campusmagazin Hohenheim is a radio show by HORADS 88.6, the non-commercial radio station of Stuttgart University. The two-hour magazine airs every Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. on FM 88.6 or via livestream on www.horads.de and reports on everything happening at Hohenheim. From the student union to celebrities, parties, and professors, all topics are covered. However, during semester breaks, the editors enjoy their well-deserved lecture-free days and are unfortunately not on the air.
There is an opportunity for students from all faculties to join the editorial team and gain practical experience in radio journalism. Editorial work involves researching and producing reports, writing news stories, selecting music for the weekly show, and of course, hosting the show. This is a great opportunity for communication science students to gain practical experience alongside their studies, but all other students are also invited to participate.
Perhaps you also have a topic suggestion that is important to you? Do you have something to report about your field of study or faculty? Have you experienced or done something special? Then send us an email at hohenheim@horads.de or send us a DM on Instagram @campusmagazin.hohenheim, and we will get in touch with you!"

The aim of our student association is to offer you the opportunity to become familiar with complex international topics during your studies and to learn how to use the opportunities of an increasingly globalised and interconnected world.
Our main project is to enable Stuttgart students to participate in the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference in New York. There you can gain your first leadership experience, become confident in negotiating on the international stage and take responsibility for a team or project while studying.
Our approximately 150 members come from a wide range of disciplines. Humanities scholars, social scientists, natural scientists and economists as well as engineers are all welcome here.
Debating is discussing and convincing according to fixed rules. Nowadays, the basic idea is to defend a position in free speech on a topic of one's choice. International debating tournaments are even held in competition, allowing everyone to measure their oratorical skills against others and creating international contacts. Debating actively trains free speech, gestures, argumentation and teamwork. These are skills that are essential for study, work and life.
In this way, we promote the formation of linguistic and oratorical skills. In addition, the association offers a politically neutral forum for the exchange of information and ideas on topics from politics, society and business.
Participation is free of charge and everyone who is interested is cordially invited. The current meeting place can be found on the homepage.

The purpose of the association and of all association events is to educate and sensitise students of the University of Hohenheim, one of the leading educational institutions for the food system in Germany, about the social, cultural and ecological context of nutrition so that they, as future decision-makers, advocate for socially and culturally high-quality, ecologically sustainable and health-promoting food systems. In particular, the association aims to fulfil this purpose through educational events, where we exchange experiences and knowledge in a pleasant and expedient atmosphere.

Then you are already following our traces! These are some of our activities we organize at Greening – always with the goal to “green” our campus. What that means? We stand for reinforcing the awareness of sustainability at the University of Hohenheim, for improving the resources management and for giving ideas for environmentally friendly solutions. Would you like to get involved and aim together with us at these goals? Are you interested in organizing for example GreenBug Lectures – or realize a whole new project? Then we are looking forward to hear from you! Internationals welcome! ;-)
The purpose of the association is an inter-corporate exchange with the inclusion of non-corporates. The aim is to deal with the corporative system, especially its past and present, through discussion rounds in order to provide suggestions on how corporations can adapt to the ravages of time.
