Fachschaft Agrarwissenschaften

The student council of the agricultural faculty FachschaftAgrar basically consists of all students of agricultural biology, agricultural sciences and renewable resource (NaWaRo). In our weekly meetings we´ll be talking about current topics affecting the university and student life and try to come up with solutions.

At the moment we are 30 – 40 active students from diverent study programs and age groups – a quite diverse group of people that can share work effectively.

Our main focus is to represent the students within the faculty and the university senate. Also, we are the people to ask, if you have questions about the organization of studies, choosing classes or issues with university staff.

Our goal is to make Hohenheim even more attractive and enjoyable for agricultural students in the future e.g. through our weekly parties at TMS, a weekend for freshmen, during our weekly public meetings or many other occasions – don’t m,iss out on the fun!

Fachschaft Naturwissenschaften

We, active members of the student association of the science faculty, study in all semesters and majors. We meet once a week to take part in university politics, discuss the current situation in the different majors and everything else that should be mentioned. For example, we also organize field trips, TMS parties and meetups for new students, so they can get to know their fellow students and university.

We do our best to help improving the life on campus and help you with your problems. So please come see us if anything bothers you! We also always welcome the help of motivated, open minded students. You can find any more details on our homepage.

Fachschaft Wirtschaftswissenschaften

Officially it says that: ‘’Faculty student bodies are the organs of students who self-manage themselves. The faculty’s student body defines itself through the members of each specific faculty. Students enrolled in each specific faculty are therefore part of the faculty’s student body. Every student is welcome to participate in those bodies. In other words, faculty student bodies are built by students who want to help and inform other students, in the form of representatives in different committees of the University, guidance for new students or through organizing different events…

We are regular students who study every semester and meet every Tuesday evening to discuss general affairs such as: Committee-work, university policy, and/or organizational matters. Also, a little bit of the university’s chatter is always included and benefits the exchange of opinions.

We as the student body of the faculty of business and economic sciences define ourselves as the representatives of all students of the faculty and the persons in charge when it comes to student problems. If you have any questions, suggestions or critiques, please contact us! If you do so we can work on further improvements. The student bodies of faculties need ideas and opinions from students to improve their selves and their work.
