The AStA advocates for all students, organizes campaigns, and represents you at the university and student union. If you want to implement projects or actively shape university life, come to our meetings and share your ideas!
The General Student Committee (AStA) is the executive body of the student body and manages the funds of the organized student body. The members elected by the Student Parliament (StuPa) advocate for the cross-faculty interests of the students. The AStA is accountable to the StuPa and bound by its resolutions, but also organizes additional events and initiatives. The AStA chairperson represents the student body externally, as well as towards the university and the Student Services Organization.
In addition, discussions and negotiations are conducted in state-wide committees such as the State Student Council, where the interests of Hohenheim students are represented.
