Here you can find basic information about student groups.
Student groups are volunteer-based, non-profit organizations at the University of Hohenheim with at least seven student members. However, the content of their websites and activities does not necessarily reflect the views of the university.
Student groups enrich campus life and advance the university. They reflect the diverse interests of students. Initiatives range from cultural integration, active faith in religious communities and various worldviews, ecological, economic, or social groups, to political engagement.
Recognition as a student group is granted by the student council, administered and carried out by the AStA. The requirements for recognition can be found in the list of criteria.
Student groups are listed on the VS website. In addition, there is the option of using lecture halls free of charge, as well as, in individual cases, using rooms in the Schloss and the Euroforum. Financial support from student body funds is available upon application.
