No one should have to miss out or worry about their period. The free period product dispensers are open to everyone - discreetly and accessible at all times. Take some if you need some and feel supported whenever you need it.
They’ve finally been available since April 2024: our free menstrual product dispensers on campus.
Following extensive discussions and deliberations with various university officials, people who menstruate can now access products easily and discreetly. The dispensers are located in four restrooms, ensuring direct access almost anywhere on campus—whether you’re on your way between classes or visiting the library.
To ensure that all students are well-supplied, we ask that you take only the amount you truly need at the moment and dispose of used products in the designated trash bins. This way, the supply remains fair and sustainable for everyone.
This project was initiated by the AStA’s Equality Office in collaboration with the university group AKN. It is part of our commitment to making the campus more inclusive, accessible, and supportive—so that no one has to worry when their period suddenly starts. Take some if you need some!
