Here we want to inform you about the various committees in which other students are active on your behalf.
Among other things, we want to make it clear which committee is responsible for what, who your representatives are, how you can reach them and what exactly we do for you there.
In general, these bodies can be divided into:
Central decision-making bodies of the university (Senate and University Council)
This is where important decisions regarding the future of the university are made. The student representatives on these bodies are elected directly by the students
Senate committees
The Senate may form decision-making and advisory committees. The voting members of the decision-making committees must be members of the Senate.
Faculty-level bodies:
These bodies decide on internal faculty matters. Depending on the body, representatives are either elected directly by the students of their faculty or appointed by the student councils.
Other Bodies:
Student representatives are involved in decision-making processes at various university institutions. These representatives are usually appointed by the StuPa.
